Texas’ 11th Congressional District comprises much of the state’s oil-producing Permian Basin region\, including the cities of Midland\, Odessa\, San Angelo and Granbury. This November\, Pfluger faces Democrat John Mark Hogg\, Libertarian Wacey Alpha Cody and\nIndependent Jeffrey Cady in the heavily conservative West Texas district. \nDate: Tuesday\, October 27th  \nTime: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm \nLocation: Midland Petroleum Club \nSpeaker: Colonel August Pfluger \nCost: $35 for members and $40 for guests (credit cards and cash accepted) \nRSVP to info@ngspb.com or through the website. \nBio – Colonel August Pfluger \nColonel August Pfluger is a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force\, a decorated F-22 combat pilot\, and the Republican Nominee for the 11th Congressional District of Texas. Before launching his campaign in September\, August served in the White House as a member of President Donald Trump’s National Security Council\, where he was entrusted with advising President Trump on a host of foreign and domestic threats to our national security. A seventh-generation Texan\, August learned the value of a hard day’s work on his family’s ranches in West Texas. After graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy\, Pfluger went on to serve his nation in uniform for nearly two decades – flying combat missions against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and commanding hundreds of combat airmen at home and abroad. Pfluger holds three master’s degrees including an international Business and Policy degree from Georgetown University. \n
