He then went on to pursue an MBA from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. \nFowler is the principal owner of REXtac\, LLC & Orrex Plastics Company\, LLC.\, an Odessa based company that provides Amorphous Poly Alpha Olefin (APAO) adhesive and sealant solutions for clients worldwide\, (REXtac) plus complex reactive extrusion compounding for all the global polymer manufacturers\, (Orrex). These solutions are used in various products such as adhesives\, lubricants\, packaging\, personal hygiene\, and automotive interiors. \nIn addition to running a successful business\, Fowler serves on the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum board\, Safe Place of the Permian Basin\, and the UTPB Development Board. Fowler has three daughters; Jennifer\, Jessica and Julie\, and seven grandchildren.

He then became mayor on January 13\, 2014. Mr. Morales is a native Midlander who owns and operates Gerardo’s Casita and Gerardo’s Bistro Restaurants. He currently serves as VP of Hospice of Midland\, St. Ann’s School Board\, and is the president-elect of the Texas Restaurant Association. He serves on the Board of Governors for the Permian Basin Area Foundation and the advisory board for Prosperity Bank. Mr. Morales has also served on the Midland Development Corporation as President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce\, President of the Permian Basin Restaurant Association\, the Midland Chamber of Commerce\, and various advisory boards and commissions. \nBio – Mike Marshall \nMike began his banking career over 26 years ago right here in the Permian Basin.  Currently\, Mike is the West Texas Area President for Prosperity Bank and managers 35 of their banks throughout West Texas.  Mike also serves as the Chairman of the bank’s Energy Loan Committee and oversees all of the bank’s credit approval to the oil and gas industry. Mike was born and raised in Lubbock\, Texas where he received is undergraduate and MBA from Texas Tech University.
