NGSPB hosts special guest speaker Guy McCrary, President and CEO of the Permian Basin Area Foundation. Mr. McCrary will speak about the pivotal role the Permian Basin Area Foundation plays in the community, and the impact the robust economic growth has had on the Permian Basin.

Bio – Guy McCrary

McCrary has served as the foundation’s vice president and chief operating officer since 2001. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas A& M University and a master’s degree from the University of Central Texas.

McCrary came to Midland in 1979 and has been active in various civic and community activities. Among them include serving as Precinct 2 Commissioner from 1987 to 1998. McCrary has also served in the U.S. Army from 1975 to 1979 and since living in Midland has worked in banking, real estate, oil and gas, marketing and management consulting.
