Scholarship Information
Each spring, the Natural Gas Society of the Permian Basin grants thousands of dollars in academic scholarships to graduating seniors or presently enrolled students to encourage and support their education. Recipients of the college fund must be sponsored by a current NGSPB member and are encouraged to keep participating until they have received two awards from the scholarship fund.
Scholarship Requirements
HIGH SCHOOL / RESIDENCY
Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled in any college, university or vocational school.
OTHER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have excellent moral character and have demonstrated excellence in their community.
COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY TO BE ATTENDED
Recipients may attend any accredited college, university or vocational school in the United States.
COLLEGE MAJOR
Recipients may major in any subject.
FINANCIAL NEED
Financial need will not be considered.
LENGTH OF SUPPORT
This scholarship will be awarded for one year only.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
Scholarship amount varies depending on funds available and number of scholarships awarded. Historically, $500 per recipient has been awarded.
