NGSPB Luncheon – September

$40A round table discussion features a panel of guest speakers from private companies and how they maneuver in the crowded, competitive landscape of the energy industry. Our panel speakers will be Travis Urbanovsky, President at K&R Operating, Gideon Powell, Director of Acquisitions at Cholla Petroleum, and Doug Coleman, Vice President of New Ventures at Prism Midstream.

Bio – Travis Urbanovsky
Travis Urbanovsky is a Cuero, TX native and two time graduate of Texas Tech, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Economics and a Masters of Business Administration. He is currently the President of K&R Operating LLC and resides in Uvalde, TX with his family. He is the loving husband to his wife Mandell, proud father to his son Ace, and he is expecting another addition to their family Oct 24th, 2016. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, sports, and classic cars.
Bio – Gideon Powell
Gideon Powell joined Cholla Petroleum full time in August 2011 as the Director of Acquisitions and New Ventures. Working with the in-house geological team, Gideon is responsible for the sourcing, evaluating, and generating of prospects and acquisition opportunities. He graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Finance and is currently on the Board of the North Texas Oil and Gas Association.
Bio – Doug Coleman
Mr. Coleman has 21 years of energy industry experience. Prior to joining Prism Midstream, he was Manager of Infrastructure at Midstates Petroleum (NYSE: MPO) and Vice President at Marlin Midstream where he led the engineering, construction, and operation of four processing plants and associated gathering systems. Mr. Coleman has also held various engineering, business development, finance, and operations positions with Sid Richardson Gasoline Company and Union Pacific Resources. Mr. Coleman holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rice and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
