Bio – Michael Henson

Mr. Henson joined Natural Gas Partners (NGP) in 2015 and serves as Vice President. He concentrates on NGP’s efforts in sourcing investments, transaction analysis, and execution as well as the monitoring of active portfolios.

Prior to joining NGP, Mr. Henson was an Associate with Lime Rock Partners, where he focused on growth equity investments in the oil and gas industry. Previously, he was an Analyst in the investment banking division of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co.

Mr. Henson received a BBA and MPA in Accounting, summa cum laude, in 2010 from The University of Texas at Austin. He received an MBA in 2016 from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he graduated with honors.
